Another key aspect of the swimming pool is the coping and waterline tiles/mosaics. The coping generally refers to the row of tiles around the perimeter of the pool (basically the tile you would stand on to jump into the pool), and the waterline is the mosaic band approx 200mm from the coping down. Decades within the industry has lead Ero Pools down many paths within the tiling sector, and when it comes to pool tiles, there's only one name that stands out in the tile industry in NSW and that's Europe Imports.
All our coping, surrounds and waterline mosaics come from Europe Imports who are located in Kings Park in Sydney. As mentioned many times, Ero Pools uses only the highest quality materials and that's why we send our clients to the outstanding people over at Europe Imports.
They stock premium grade tiles and pavers and have an unrivalled selection of glass mosaics for the pool internals. They also stock many of our pool surface samples which will help when selecting your tiles in their showrooms.

Do we need waterline tiles? | Yes and No! Pools can be installed without a waterline but its strongly recommended against. Pool surfaces are porous and most of the dirt, sunblock and other impurities sit on top of the pool water. This can then stain the pool surface and leave a ring or dis-colouration mark which is very unsightly, as seen below | ||||
How often do we need to seal the pavers? | This will generally depend on the quality of the sealer and the amount of debris and sitting water over the tiles. As a rule of thumb, a good quality sealer (which is very easy to apply) can be put in every 2 years. Some ceramic tiles do not require sealing. |
